Charge your Blackberry on any PC
As you might have tried, charging a Blackberry phone on PC requires installation of RIM drivers, which of course come only with whole download of desktop manager, which weights at heavy 90 megabytes!

If you want a cleaner method, that also works in XP, Vista and other Windows versions, try this:
1. connect your blackberry to your PC
2. start internet explorer, and go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com
3. choose Custom, and then expand Hardware section and choose Blackberry USB driver.
This will install proper Blackberry driver (and latest version), on any Windows computer! Blackberry will then be charged correctly.

I TRIED TO FOLLOW WHAT ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR MENTIONED BUT IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL… I HAVE WINDOWS XP AND MY SON BLACKBERRY DOES NOT CHARGE ON MY LAPTOP. I CHOSE CUSTOM BUT HOW DO YOU EXPAND TO CHOSE HARDWARE? ON THE URL? IT DOES NOT WORK? THERE IS NO SYMBOL\/OPTION FOR HARDWARE ANY HELP???
